Nikon’s new 1.1 or 1.25 or whatever the crop factor will be, is already being touted as the new DXII format, irrespective of how “close” it is or not to full frame. The fact is this new DXII format will NOT be full frame.

An I the only one who really doesn’t care if the new format is 1.1 or 1.2 or between .5 and 1.2? At 1.2, a 50mm becomes 60mm, at1.1, a 50 becomes 55mm.

I can deal with that. I don’t think all that many people would be terribly excited by 1.3, I sure wouldn’t– I’d be holding onto my D2x for quite a while in that case.
