Comment: Why is it that the second someone posts 2nd (or 3rd, etc) hand info, the next guy ends up talking  about NDA violations, trade secrets, or something else like that?

Yes- in this case,  if it’s true and Nikon gives a damn, Renesas might be in some trouble. But in most cases, if someone violates their NDA by passing info to a 2nd party, that 2nd party (who hasn’t signed the NDA) is under no contractual obligation to keep anything secret.

Same thing goes for trade secrets- they’re only a trade secret until it gets out.
