		<description>It sounds a bit unlikely to me, but if the digital rangefinder thing is true I&#039;d buy one in a shot.

I&#039;ve been shooting with an old M6 recently, when I don&#039;t want to carry around large SLR gear, and I really like the experience, but film is a pain. The M8 is too much of a compromise and too expensive though.

I&#039;m most skeptical because in M-mount cameras the back of the lens is very close to the film plane, and I&#039;d be surprised if you can get a FX-sized image without vignetting.

Also, the M-mount is quite busy and I&#039;m not sure where you&#039;d put the contacts to run AF motors, or indicate the focal length of zoom lenses. Also M-mount lenses do not have an aperture coupling - the metering is stop-down TTL, for obvious reasons, which makes me suspicious.

Still, it would be cool.</description>
