The Competition- Leica R10 - 40mp?

No problem. He also mentioned a 40 mp Leica / Phase One camera with 35 by 45 mm sensor that is planned. New R10, completely new body and lens system.
If you love cameras, I think you have to love Leica- they just look so cool and are/were widely renown for their magnificent lenses, mechanics, and reliability.
I can’t wait to see what becomes of the long-rumored R10.
This is the only camera store that NikonWatch trusts- never any hassle, gimmicks, or problems:

Both Hasselblad and Mamiya have a sensor that is essentially two 35mm full frame-sized sensors: 48×36, resulting in a 1.33:1 aspect ratio.
The top-of-the-line Phase One back is about 5% larger than that and the midrange is about 85% of that size. The interesting thing is that in spite of the large size of the Phase One sensors, there’s still a crop factor, ranging from 1.1 to 1.4.
These cameras are extraordinarily expensive. The question is with the ever-increasing quality on Canon’s and Nikon’s top-end models, unless you’re shooting something that’s going to be printed poster-sized or wall-sized, is it worth the investment? And how many players can the MF digital market support?
