B&H Photo Video

I do software and have worked with, in, and around software and computers since I was a kid. If you don’t work on software projects, you probably think that it’s just a wad of nerds sitting around banging on their keyboards.
But that’s rarely the case- most of the time, I’m trying to satisfy a client who’s paying a ton of money to me (or a company I work with) to get that project finished and deployed.
So I have to bend over backwards and do whatever it takes to make them happy because they’re buying from me and I pride myself on customer service. I don’t pull any shenanigans, I’m up front and you know what to expect.
Because I treat my clients this way, I expect others to do the same and the only shop I deal with which consistently plays zero games, has never let me down, and truly plays it straight is B&H Photo Video.
They’re a LARGE store in downtown Mid-town Manhattan. It’s like Disneyland for cameras and electronics of all sorts. It’s truly an awe-inspiring experience to go there and get to play with all the stuff you’ve been thinking about buying.
They’ve even got this amazing over-head trolley system for the stuff you buy- you say you want a D3 and a 24-70mm and about a minute later, it’ll be waiting for you in the checkout area.
Other stores can be hit or miss- lots of them like to charge your credit card when they think they’re going to get a shipment, or tell you that some thing’s in stock when it’s not- B&H does not do this and that’s why they’ve earned my respect and business and why I’m now part of their affiliate system.
If you like NikonWatch and want to help support it, click on a B&H link and then purchase whatever, it’ll cost you nothing extra and I’ll get a few bucks and thank you.
