File info 2 in ViewNX gives you the time the pic was taken down to the hundredths of a sec. Doing the math 8 fps would be .125 sec between frames which would probably be displayed as .13 due to rounding. The shortest time I've seen is .14 sec, the longest is .22 with most with an average of .15. 1/.15 = 6.667 1/.14 = 7.14 I tried 5 fps and the time between frames was a consistent .2 sec. It would be interesting to see if someone with a grip actually sees .125 (or .13).... I tried this and it’s not quite 8 fps.
