		<description>I tried this and it&#039;s not quite 8 fps.  File info 2 in ViewNX gives you the time the pic was taken down to the hundredths of a sec.  Doing the math 8 fps would be .125 sec between frames which would probably be displayed as .13 due to rounding.  The shortest time I&#039;ve seen is .14 sec, the longest is .22 with most with an average of .15.

1/.15 = 6.667
1/.14 = 7.14

I tried 5 fps and the time between frames was a consistent .2 sec.  It would be interesting to see if someone with a grip actually sees .125 (or .13)....</description>
