Jeff-C has a good reputation on dpReview as frequently having credible information ahead of time. Now he’s got a D3x and has published some sample studio shots with it at various ISO’s here.

3200iso looks pretty good to me- no reason not to use it if you have to.

On the other hand, studio pro’s tend to have tons of money sunk into lighting, so the likelihood of them using 3200 is probably pretty damned low.
