Nikon D3s Annnounced

This camera was expected to land tomorrow, but it’s dropped a day early!

Here are the specs that stand out:

• Features a redesigned 12.1 megapixel sensor that has standard ISO’s from 200 to ISO 12800 and CAN get to 102,400 (not a typo) in Hi-3 mode.
• Seven stop ISO range of 200 – 12,800
• Movies: 720p/ 24fps in motion JPEG with stereo sound using an input jack!
• Crops modes: 5:4 (30×24); 1.2x (30×20); and DX (24×16).
• New Quiet shutter release mode
• Extra Active-D lighting modes: Extra High, High, Normal and Low
• Buffer is twice the size of the D3
• Focus appears unchanged
• Same battery
• Same LCD
